I'm not going to try and say that this works on everybody, or that it has been this miracle product that has given me Rapunzel-worthy locks, but I can say that I have definitely seen a difference since using them. Biotin is an essential water soluble B-Vitamin that is most thought of as the "hair growth" vitamin. I have veerry fine hair, which used to get to a certain point and seemingly stop growing. I've always wanted long hair, so I first gave prenatal vitamins a shot, which are also known for making hair grow. I didn't see many results with using that, so I switched over to Biotin about 4 months ago.
Here's my hair length on new years eve this year... (I did one curly picture and one straight so you could better see the length)
And then since taking 2,500 Mg Biotin twice a day with meals (and LOTS of water) here are most recent pictures that show my length.
Like I said, it's not crazy growth, but for a little over 4 months I will definitely continue to buy these. :)
I take NatureMade brand ones, which are nicely sized purple pills that go down really easy. I got them at Meijers, and they're about 9 bucks, but it seems like they're always having buy one get one free deals so it wasn't too bad. I have heard of some people experiencing more breakouts while taking them, but I haven't noticed any of that!
